Women Lawyers of Tomorrow – Pushing Base, Brand & Boundaries
On 23 July 2019, our Syazana Yahya attended the Law Society’s Women in Practice (“WIP”) event (with support from Office for Women’s Development, Ministry of Social and Family Development), “Women Lawyers of Tomorrow – Pushing Base, Brand and Boundaries” at The Colonial @ Scotts.
In March 2018, The Law Society formed the WIP taskforce to examine women-in-the-workplace issues in a move to address inequities still present in the legal industry. Currently, the taskforce comprises of Felicia Tan and Simran Toor as Co-Chairpersons and more than 10 members.
This event brought together a panel of distinguished speakers including Minister Indranee Rajah SC and senior female lawyers sharing their experiences and perspectives on developing one’s personal brand and profile in the legal marketplace.
