Eugene Thuraisingam LLP welcomes Jerrie Tan as Partner

We are pleased to welcome Jerrie Tan as Partner with effect from 6 January 2025.

Jerrie began her career with us during our infancy in 2013. With founding partner Eugene Thuraisingam and other pioneering lawyers, she was instrumental in building the foundations of our disputes practice. Within 3 years, she had had various High Court and Court of Appeal reported decisions to her name.

Subsequently in 2017, Jerrie joined an international law firm and worked closely with leading Senior Counsel. Over 8 years, she has developed an active commercial disputes and corporate investigations practice, with a special focus on Mandarin-speaking clients.

Recognising her significant track record as criminal trial lawyer in capital cases, the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021 empanelled Jerrie as Lead Counsel in the Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences.

Jerrie is also a passionate educator in trial advocacy. She has been appointed as an Adjunct Fellow with the National University of Singapore Centre for Pro Bono and Clinical Legal Education.
