Two partners from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP featured in list of Singapore Rising Stars 2022

Asian Legal Business has just published its inaugural list of Singapore Rising Stars 2022. The list, which may be accessed via the December 2022 edition of ALB’s magazine, presents the “next generation of the country’s lawyers who have demonstrated great potential in the industry and earned wide acclaim from their clients”.

Two partners from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP, Suang Wijaya and Chooi Jing Yen, were named in the list of 40 law firm practitioners and five in-house legal counsel.

Suang Wijaya, 34, has been a partner at Eugene Thuraisingam LLP since 2018 and Chooi Jing Yen, 32, was made partner in 2019. Both partners play a pivotal role in the firm’s dispute resolution practice and have appeared as lead counsel in Singapore’s highest court, the Court of Appeal.

The duo also helped launch Thuraisingam (International) Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this year to supplement the firm’s efforts to better serve its clients in the region in international white collar crime investigations and international commercial arbitration disputes.

We thank our colleagues at the bar and our clients for their continued support.
