Eugene Thuraisingam Asia LLC was proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the Yellow Ribbon Run 2026. The run was held on Sunday, 20 September 2026 at The Kallang. The Guest of Honour was Mr Edwin Tong SC, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs.
The Yellow Ribbon Run is organised under the Yellow Ribbon Project. It raises awareness and funds to support the rehabilitation of ex-offenders and their reintegration into society. This year’s theme was “A Nation Beyond 2nd Chances”. It brought together members of the public, corporate partners, volunteers and families in support of second chances.
Our founder Eugene Thuraisingam, Managing Director Suang Wijaya, and Director Faraaz Amzar pulled on the yellow socks and joined thousands of fellow runners on the 5km route.
Why this cause matters to us
As criminal defence lawyers, we work every day with people at some of the hardest moments of their lives. A sentence is rarely the end of their story. What happens afterwards often decides whether a person rebuilds their life or returns to the justice system: employment, family support and whether the community will accept them.
The Yellow Ribbon Project’s message, “We Are Each Other’s Second Chances”, is close to our own belief that everyone deserves fair treatment in court and a real chance at a fresh start afterwards. We were glad to support it with our sponsorship and on the running route.
