Legion of Races Online League Season 2020
Eugene Thuraisingam LLP is proud to be one of the supporting partners of Singapore’s first sim-racing league, Legion of Racers (LOR) Online League Season 2020. LOR’s supporting partners include renowned engine lubricant brand MOTUL, Logitech G, model car maker Tarmac Works, motoring media portal 9tro.com, Monster Energy, hostel brand Eighteen by Three, simracing rig builders Next Level Racing and communications and strategy firm SW Singapore | Malaysia. The event is supported by the Sim Racing Association of Singapore.
2. Esports racing team
LOR is an esports racing team. It brings together these enthusiasts to participate in a league to identify the top talents in esports racing and gathers the fastest esports racers, combining the motorsports and the gaming world, in the region. Currently, the esports team consists of professional simracing talents from Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. It is expected to expand its participation reach to include Hong Kong and Malaysia.
According to the article reported today, LOR is on the lookout for the next batch of sim-racers who will carry the LOR flag into competitions like the Logitech G Challenge, the FIA GT Sport Nations and Manufacturers Cup among others.
Sharing the views of Melvin Moh, a co-founder of LOR, Eugene Thuraisingam, managing partner of Eugene Thuraisingam LLP, supports the objectives of the LOR to widen its base of simracers as there has been an uprising trend in the esports industry.

“The esports industry and global reach is increasing “, said Eugene. Eugene further added, “We are excited to be on board with the Legion of Racers as they get firmly in the driving seat and grow the simracing base in the region”.
One of the professional e-sports athlete of LOR, Muhammad Aleef Mohamed Rafik, clinched the e-racing championship in Logitech G-Challenge e-series for the Asia-Pacific region which took place in Melbourne last year. Aleef was one of the top three of the LOR 2019 Finals.
