Our Director and Singapore criminal lawyer, Mr Johannes Hadi, has been named a Recommended Lawyer in the Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) – Business Crime Defence, Singapore 2026, in two categories: Business Crime Defence (Corporates) and Business Crime Defence (Individuals).

Johannes’s recognition in both categories reflects the breadth of his practice as a Singapore criminal lawyer. He acts for companies facing regulatory and criminal investigations, and for directors, officers and other individuals under investigation or facing charges for white-collar offences, often in matters where the interests of the company and the individual must be carefully managed side by side.

THE RECOGNITION

The Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) identifies leading practitioners across jurisdictions and practice areas. Its listings are based on independent research and nominations from clients and peers, and lawyers are recognised on the strength of that feedback.

Johannes joins our Managing Director, Mr Suang Wijaya, who was similarly recognised by Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) as a Recommended Lawyer for Business Crime Defence (Southeast Asia) & Highly Recommended Lawyer for Business Crime Defence (Client Choice) earlier this year.

ABOUT JOHANNES

Johannes is a Singapore criminal lawyer and a Director at Eugene Thuraisingam Asia LLC. His practice spans criminal litigation and appeals, contentious investigations and commercial litigation. Most recently, he led the appeal in which the Court of Appeal set aside Lev Panfilov’s convictions on all four charges. He has also acted as lead counsel for a Thai national in Singapore criminal proceedings involving allegations of international trade fraud with over S$30 million in dispute.

Johannes is appointed by the Supreme Court as lead counsel under the Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences and teaches advocacy at the National University of Singapore. He has previously been recognised by The Legal 500 (White Collar Crime: Local) and Doyle’s Guide (Criminal Defence). He works in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.

We congratulate Johannes on this well-deserved recognition, and thank our clients and colleagues for the trust and confidence that make it possible.
