ACRES (Animal Concerns Research and Education Society) is a Singapore-based charity with the sole aim of advocating for an end to animal cruelty. With Singapore’s first facility dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and injured native wild animals, they speak up for animals via five focus areas: Tackling Wildlife Crime in Singapore, Humane Education, Promoting Cruelty-Free Living, Community Outreach, and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation.
Found in May 2001, ACRES hosted a charity gala dinner at Paradox Singapore Merchant Court to mark their 22nd anniversary. Tickets for the event were fully sold out.
