1. Continuous support for CSTSF

In our continuous efforts in supporting Chiam See Tong Sports Fund (CSTSF), Eugene Thuraisingam LLP is proud to be one of the supporting partners for CSTSF Charity Shield 2020.

2. About the football fundraising match

This is the second year in which the Organising Committee of CSTSF is organising a friendly football game to help raise funds for children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their sporting dreams. The organisers hope to raise S$15,000 from the football fundraising event. Tickets are selling at S$20.00 and can be purchased from Eventbrite’s website here.

The football fundraising match between Singapore Ex-Internationals (including Nazri Nasir, Steven Tan, Mohd Noor Ali and more) and the Celebrities Sports Club (including Former Singapore Idol, Asian Idol winner and recently crowned co-winner of the sixth season of Malaysian television singing show Gegar Vaganza, Hady Mirza, actor and executive producer Zheng Ge Ping, award-winning actor, Singapore and director Devarajan Varadarajan, and many more) will take place on Friday, 31^st January 2020 at 8pm at the Our Tampines Hub.

Mr Jose Raymond, the chairman of the organising committee of the CSTSF Charity Shield 2020, told The Monitor SG, “We are thankful of the support given by the Celebrities Sports Club, the Ex-Internationals, our supporting partners like lawyer Eugene Thuraisingam and his team, and the Football Association of Singapore for their unwavering support for our cause.”

3. Organising Committee of CSTSF

Mr Ang Peng Siong, the chairman of the board of the CSTSF, added, “Many of the players who will take to the field are household names like Nazri Nasir and Indra Sahdan Daud, including entertainment icons such as Rong Ming and Hady Mirza. We hope that as many people as possible will come out in support of the event and our stars on show as funds of which will benefit our under-resourced athletes in Singapore who are supported by the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund.”
